The Pharmacy Technician will support licensed pharmacists by processing and filling prescriptions, preparing medications, and ensuring accurate labeling and dosage instructions. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, stocking medications and supplies, and assisting with ordering to maintain appropriate levels. The role also involves verifying patient information, handling insurance or benefit questions, and providing courteous, professional customer service at the pharmacy counter and by phone. The Pharmacy Technician will follow all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.Qualifications Proficiency working with prescriptions, including processing, filling, and verifying accuracy.Knowledge of pharmacy operations and workflow in a community or outpatient pharmacy setting.Experience as a Pharmacy Technician, including collaboration with pharmacists and clinical staff.Skills in inventory control, including stocking, ordering, and monitoring medication and supply levels.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and support diverse patient populations.High school diploma or equivalent; formal pharmacy technician training or certification preferred.Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration in the state of California, or eligibility to obtain it as required by regulations.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow standardized procedures and safety protocols.Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills; familiarity with pharmacy management software is an advantage.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours as needed.
