The Pharmacy Technician will support licensed pharmacists by accurately processing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, and ensuring correct labeling and packaging. Daily responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy inventory, checking stock levels and expiry dates, and organizing storage areas to comply with safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves assisting patients and clinical staff at the pharmacy counter, providing clear information on medication usage, and delivering courteous, efficient customer service. The Pharmacy Technician will also help with documentation, updating patient records, and adhering to hospital policies and regional pharmacy regulations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in handling prescriptions, including interpreting medication orders and verifying completeness and accuracy.Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing procedures and safe handling practices.Candidates should possess experience as pharmacy technicians, with familiarity in working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists in clinical or hospital settings.Candidates should possess inventory control skills, including monitoring stock levels, managing ordering processes, and tracking expiry dates.Candidates should possess customer service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients and healthcare staff.Relevant diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field; eligibility to work in Dubai and meet local regulatory requirements.Attention to detail, ability to follow standard operating procedures, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.Basic computer literacy for pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records; proficiency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
