Position Summary As a Pharmacy Technician I, Non-Sterile Compounding, you'll play a vital role in the preparation, quality control, and dispensing of custom compounded medications. Unlike a typical pharmacy technician role, this position offers focused, hands-on experience in non-sterile compounding techniques alongside cross-training in prescription fulfillment and clinical coordination support within an innovative, service-oriented environment. You'll be involved in every step of the compounding process, from formulation and preparation to quality checks and point of sale, with ample opportunities for growth, learning, and career advancement.Key Responsibilities Prepares non-sterile compounded medications accurately and efficiently, following standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelinesMaintains inventory of compounding supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storageCollaborates with pharmacists to review prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness for compounding and verifying accuracy of informationPerforms calculations to determine the correct quantities of ingredients required for compounding medicationsMaintains a clean and organized compounding area, adhering to sterile and aseptic techniquesAssists in the labeling and packaging of compounded medications, providing clear instructions to patientsMaintains accurate records of all compounded medications, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and other essential informationPerforms other related duties as required and assignedRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentRegistered Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy6+ months of experience in a pharmacy settingAbility to work with pharmacy software, cloud-based communication tools, and mobile platformsStrong attention to detail, reliable time management, and a team-oriented attitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasksWork Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced pharmacy setting requiring multitasking and attention to detailCollaborative team environment with cross-functional exposure to compounding, fulfillment, and clinical coordinationMay require occasional remote or telephonic patient interactionsAbility to stand for extended periods during shiftsFrequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and medication preparationAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyVisual acuity required for reading prescriptions and verifying medication labelsFeatured Benefits Competitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401k with employer matchPaid Time OffEmployee Perks & Discounts#ReviveRxWhy Join ReviveRX?
