We also have a wide variety of over-the-counter products and personal care items.Our pharmacy accepts most major prescription plans, and we offer an automated phone service to make refilling your prescription easy and fast. We’re here to help you with any health-related questions about prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.Knowledgeable, helpful staffCertified immunization providersComputerized prescription records and drug interaction checksAutomated phone prescription refill serviceAccept most major prescription plansSUMMARYUnder the direction of a Registered Pharmacist, assists Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.  Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors and staff.QUALIFICATIONSEducationMinimum: High school education or equivalent. Preferred: Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.Credentials/Licensure Minimum:  Fully licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Michigan.  Currently employed Pharmacy Technicians at Trinity Health may also satisfy this requirement with a Limited Pharmacy Technician Licensure.Preferred: National Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician                  Related ExperienceMinimum: One year of pharmacy work experience.                  Other Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum: Good written and verbal communication skills.  Good math skills (multiplication, division, addition,  subtraction) in calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages and volumes.  Good communication skills.                  Computer CompetencyFamiliarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.  Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
