Location: RemoteDuration: 10 weeksCommitment: 40 hours/week with 4 hours of PST overlap per dayStart Date: ImmediateRole ResponsibilitiesDevelop realistic, terminal-based scientific tasks for training and evaluating AI agents.Translate Earth Sciences workflows into reproducible computational tasks.Prepare and process environmental, climate, geospatial, geological, atmospheric, and oceanographic datasets.Build and debug computational environments and reproducible scientific workflows.Develop expert solutions and automated checks for objectively verifiable scientific outputs.Validate spatial and temporal data, uncertainty, numerical accuracy, and scientific quality.RequirementsPhD in climate science, atmospheric science, geophysics, oceanography, geology, hydrology, environmental modeling, remote sensing, Earth-system science, or another Earth Sciences discipline.Programming experience with Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Octave, Julia, or similar tools.Hands-on experience with Linux or terminal-based environments.Experience with scientific data processing, numerical modeling, geospatial analysis, environmental datasets, or time-series analysis.Ability to build, debug, and validate reproducible scientific workflows.Strong understanding of scientific quality control, spatial and temporal data, uncertainty, and numerical accuracy.Application ProcessComplete the Interest Check Form.Complete the required assessment.Profiles will be reviewed by the Delivery Manager.Shortlisted candidates will receive the next steps by email.
