King's College Hospital London Dubai is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient specimen collection while delivering an exceptional patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect blood and other specimens from patients of all age groups using appropriate collection techniques.Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling.Ensure patients have completed required test preparations before sample collection.Maintain patient comfort, safety, and professionalism throughout the procedure.Accurately document specimen collection and ensure timely delivery to the laboratory.Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards at all times.Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, nurses, and physiciansRequirementsValid DHA License as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician (mandatory).Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an equivalent healthcare qualification.Minimum 2 years of relevant phlebotomy experience, preferably within a hospital or clinic setting.Strong knowledge of specimen collection procedures and infection control practices.Excellent communication and patient-care skills.Proficient in using healthcare systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
