Pictures With Class partners closely with schools to deliver reliable, professional photography services tailored to academic environments.Role Description This is a full-time, remote Photographer role based in Pendleton, OR. The Photographer will capture individual and group portraits for students and staff across preschool through high school settings, following established schedules and school requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up lighting and backdrops, operating digital camera equipment, managing image files, and ensuring accurate labeling and organization of photos for in-house processing and yearbook production. The role involves traveling to local schools, interacting professionally with students, families, and school personnel, and maintaining a calm, organized environment during photo sessions. The Photographer will also assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and basic administrative tasks related to shoots.Qualifications Demonstrated photography skills, including experience with portrait photography and use of digital cameras and lighting equipment.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle school schedules, shoot lists, and accurate record-keeping.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and school staff in a professional manner.Attention to detail and reliability to ensure consistent image quality, proper file management, and alignment with company standards.Ability to work remotely in Northeast Oregon, including reliable transportation to schools and flexibility for early morning or seasonal peak hours.Comfort with basic computer use and digital workflows; experience with photo editing or yearbook systems is a plus.Capability to lift, carry, and set up photography equipment and backdrops as needed.Previous experience in school photography or working in educational settings is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
