BENO is a Dubai-based luxury lifestyle experiences company, expanding its in-house media team across yacht and watersports, automotive, desert experiences, and lifestyle production. We're hiring a Photographer to lead still photography across BENO's productions, with secondary video capability for larger shoots.Role OverviewThis role owns still photography across BENO's productions: supercars, yachts, desert experiences, events, hospitality, and client moments, with a secondary ability to operate as a videographer. Candidates are evaluated primarily on their stills portfolio; video capability is a secondary consideration.ResponsibilitiesCapture high-quality photography for social media, website, ads, and promotional campaignsWork closely with the Head of Media / Creative Director and Producer to execute visual concepts and shoot plansPhotograph luxury lifestyle experiences, including supercars, yachts, watersports, desert experiences, events, hospitality venues, and exclusive client momentsDeliver strong composition, lighting, and storytelling aligned with BENO's visual identityEdit and retouch photos to maintain a consistent, high-end finishDeliver optimized formats for social, marketing, and digital platformsOrganize and manage photo assets and file deliveryAdapt quickly across live shoots, events, and changing conditionsApply specialized lighting technique for reflective and high-gloss surfaces, a core skill for automotive and yacht photographyDirect subjects and suggest optimal positioning for asset shoots (cars, buggies, watersports, yachts, bicycles, etc.), guiding crew or models to get the best shots, and stay proactive during events to capture key moments as they happenOperate as videographer on larger productions when needed, providing supplemental footage, behind-the-scenes coverage, or additional angles (secondary to the core stills role)Flexible to work outside standard hours or on weekends for specific shoots or eventsQualificationsProven photography experience, portfolio required, and the primary basis for evaluationHighly experienced with Sony mirrorless camera systems and lenses, for both photography and videography, with strong command of flash lighting when neededStrong proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop for color correction and retouching; this is a mustStrong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling, including reflective surfaces (vehicles, yachts)Experience shooting luxury lifestyle, automotive, events, hospitality, or brand contentComfortable working with strobe or continuous lighting setups on locationComfortable working in physically demanding conditions when required, for example aboard boats or in the desert, given the range of environments across BENO's productionsComfortable working under tight deadlines across multiple assignmentsStrong AI literacy: comfortable using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield to support creative output and workflow. This is a core requirement, not a bonus skillFamiliar with social media platforms and their content requirements (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)Fluent in English, written and spoken, able to communicate and understand everything related to the scope of the workWorking knowledge of video camera and lighting operation for videographyA relevant academic degree in photography, film, media, art, marketing, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of professional experience (Dubai experience preferred)Preferred QualificationsDrone photography experience (GCAA license a plus)Understanding of Dubai's visual identity and storytelling styleExperience working alongside videographers and editors on multi-format shootsWorking Hours9:00 to 18:00 (Dubai time), with flexibility on shoot days and events.
