The role requires the ability to independently investigate production issues, perform code-level analysis and root-cause analysis, manage application dependencies and releases, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, database, and integration teams to ensure application stability and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing PHP/Laravel applications.Provide hands-on application support with a strong focus on stability, reliability, performance, and production availability.Perform code-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex application issues.Configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade PHP and Nginx within Linux environments.Manage Laravel applications, Composer packages, dependencies, libraries, and package versions.Identify and resolve application dependency, compatibility, and versioning issues.Use Git for source-code management, branching, versioning, and release management.Develop and maintain frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Perform web UI maintenance, including updates to application content, images, layouts, and other visual elements.Use Photoshop or similar image-editing tools for basic web application visual requirements where needed.Work with MySQL databases, including developing, analyzing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.Investigate database and data-related production issues and support data-integrity validation.Develop, maintain, integrate, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs.Troubleshoot application integrations and communication with internal and external systems.Support application deployments, releases, patches, and upgrades across development and production environments.Ensure appropriate application versioning and coordination during release and deployment activities.Analyze application and server logs to identify technical issues and support incident resolution.Implement targeted code fixes while minimizing impact on existing application functionality.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, database, and integration teams to resolve complex technical issues.Support continuous improvements to application reliability, maintainability, and operational stability.Technical RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with PHP.Strong experience with Laravel Framework.PHP/Laravel application maintenance and production support.Linux environments.Nginx configuration and troubleshooting.MySQL.SQL query development and troubleshooting.RESTful APIs.API integration and troubleshooting.Composer.PHP/Laravel dependency and package management.Git.Source-code version control.Branching and release management.HTML.CSS.JavaScript.jQuery.Application deployment and release support.Production troubleshooting.Code-level debugging and root-cause analysis.Log analysis and application troubleshooting.Application configuration and dependency management.Experience supporting existing and business-critical applications.Strong understanding of application stability, reliability, and secure development practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.12+ years of relevant experience in software development, PHP development, web application development, or application production support.Proven hands-on experience developing and supporting PHP/Laravel applications.Strong experience working with applications hosted in Linux production environments.Proven experience troubleshooting application issues at both code and infrastructure integration levels.Strong experience with MySQL, RESTful APIs, Nginx, Composer, and Git.Experience managing application releases, dependencies, upgrades, and production deployments.Ability to independently investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Experience working with development, infrastructure, security, database, and integration teams.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Nice to HaveExperience supporting large-scale or business-critical PHP/Laravel applications.Experience with CI/CD and DevOps-based deployment practices.Experience with application monitoring and logging tools.Experience with application performance optimization.Experience with application security and secure coding practices.Experience with Photoshop or similar image-editing tools for basic web UI requirements.Experience supporting integrations between PHP applications and enterprise platforms.Key SkillsPHP | Laravel | Linux | Nginx | MySQL | SQL | RESTful APIs | Composer | Git | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | jQuery | Application Support | Production Support | API Integration | Dependency Management | Release Management | Deployment | Debugging | Root Cause Analysis | Troubleshooting | Web Application Development
