Valtrans partners with luxury hotels, major malls, private hospitals, and international airports across the United Arab Emirates and continues to expand its client base.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Laravel Developer role based in Dubai. The developer will design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs using PHP and the Laravel framework to support transportation and hospitality solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing secure and scalable features, integrating with front-end interfaces, optimizing application performance, and maintaining code quality through testing and documentation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable software aligned with operational needs. The developer will also contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems, assist with deployments, and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, with hands-on experience in PHP and the Laravel framework.Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including clean architecture, design patterns, and reusable code practices.Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as basic proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate and debug user interfaces.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.Candidates should possess Programming skills that include problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and the ability to work with databases (e.g., MySQL) and RESTful APIs.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience deploying and maintaining Laravel applications in production environments and working with Linux-based servers is beneficial.Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and integration with third-party services is an advantage.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, on-site team environment.
