Physical Education Teacher

Position Overview:Sharjah American International School (SAIS) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated physical education teacher to join immediately our Middle and High School Girls Section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a passion for promoting fitness and health, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.Organize and oversee sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.Promote health, fitness, and wellness among students.Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education into broader educational goals.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle and high school girls' sections.Excellent command of written and spoken English (native English speaker or IELTS 6+).Strong knowledge of fitness training, sports science, and injury prevention.Passion for teaching and motivating students to maintain an active lifestyle.Experience in planning and coordinating school sports events is a plus.Skills and Attributes:Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage and engage large groups of students.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Creative and adaptable teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
