Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions.Key Responsibilities Assess and manage patients with physical disabilities, musculoskeletal conditions, and neurological disorders. Develop individualized rehabilitation and recovery plans. Manage patients following stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological conditions. Evaluate and treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. Provide non-surgical management of sports and occupational injuries. Coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists. Perform appropriate interventional and procedural treatments for pain and musculoskeletal conditions. Monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation plans as required. Counsel patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals, treatment options, and long-term care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions. RequirementsQualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level. Strong expertise in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Experience in pain management and rehabilitation procedures is an advantage. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
