Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions, with a focus on improving patients' mobility, independence, and quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and manage patients with physical disabilities, musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological conditionsDevelop individualized rehabilitation and recovery plansManage patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological conditionsEvaluate and treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal disordersProvide non-surgical management of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditionsPerform appropriate musculoskeletal injections and other rehabilitation proceduresCoordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialistsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as requiredCounsel patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals, treatment options, and long-term careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary case discussionsRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degreeMD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & RehabilitationSignificant post-specialization experience at Consultant levelStrong expertise in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitationExperience in pain management and rehabilitation procedures is an advantageExcellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation teamBenefitsPrivate Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus
