This innovative approach drives significant cost savings while ensuring comprehensive, high-quality care for diverse populations.Role Description The Physical Therapy Technician at MantraCare supports virtual physical therapy services and patient care in a part-time, remote role. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting physical therapists with preparation and follow-up for telehealth sessions, guiding patients through prescribed exercise programs, and documenting progress in digital systems. The technician helps patients navigate the platform, reinforces therapy instructions, and ensures that care plans are followed safely and effectively. Additional tasks include providing clear, compassionate communication via phone or messaging, coordinating scheduling, and escalating clinical concerns to licensed providers as needed.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and patient care abilities, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.Foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques, with experience supporting rehabilitation or MSK care preferred.Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills for interacting with patients and clinical staff in a remote, digital environment.Comfort with telehealth platforms, basic technology troubleshooting, and accurate electronic documentation.Ability to follow clinical instructions, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a remote setting.Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic, rehabilitation setting, or healthcare support role is an advantage.Relevant certification or coursework in physical therapy assistance, exercise science, or a related field is preferred.
