The Physics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned physics lessons for middle and/or high school students, ensuring concepts are presented clearly and in a way that supports diverse learning styles. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, lab activities, and assessments; grading and providing constructive feedback; and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive classroom environment, integrate technology and practical experiments into teaching, and collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives. Additional duties may include communicating regularly with parents and guardians, participating in professional development, and contributing to extracurricular academic activities such as science clubs or competitions.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience -Experience teaching the American Curriculum, IB, and/or AP is preferred Relevant degree and teaching qualificationDemonstrated classroom management skills and ability to foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.Proficiency using educational technology and digital tools to support instruction, assessment, and communication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Science Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification or license preferred.Prior experience teaching physics in an international or multicultural school setting is highly desirable.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, engage with families, and participate in school-wide events and initiatives.
