Melodica’s mission is to make the joy of music and dance accessible, inspiring, and life-changing for every student.Role Description The Piano Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at Melodica Music & Dance Academy branches. The Piano Teacher will deliver individual and group piano lessons to learners of various ages and skill levels, following the academy’s structured curriculum and preparing students for exams such as ABRSM and Trinity when applicable. Daily tasks include planning engaging lesson content, teaching practical piano skills and music theory, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves supporting students in performance opportunities, collaborating with other faculty members, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The Piano Teacher is expected to uphold Melodica’s educational standards, communicate regularly with learners and caregivers, and participate in academy events and training sessions.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong piano performance skills, including Piano Playing and mastery of Piano techniques.Candidates should possess expertise in Piano Education and Music Education, with experience teaching diverse age groups and skill levels.Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Music Theory to integrate into lessons and exam preparation.Relevant diploma or degree in Music, Piano Performance, or Music Education, or equivalent professional training.Prior experience as a piano teacher or music educator in an academy or school setting.Ability to create structured, engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learner progress.Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.Willingness to work on-site at Dubai branches and maintain a consistent full-time teaching schedule.Experience with exam boards such as ABRSM or Trinity College London is an advantage.
