Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe're looking for a detail-oriented Planner to join our team. This role is open to full-time or part-time candidates, and can be based on-site in Dubai or performed remotely, depending on project needs and candidate location. You'll develop, update, and monitor project schedules using industry-standard planning tools, working closely with project managers and site teams to keep projects on track.Your responsibilities will include tracking project progress, flagging schedule risks early, and building recovery or mitigation plans to keep timelines intact. You'll produce regular time-related reports for management and stakeholders, and work across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align resources and activities with the overall project plan and contractual milestones. You'll also maintain accurate planning documentation, support tender and bid submissions with preliminary schedules, and ensure everything stays compliant with company standards and local regulations.Remote candidates should be comfortable coordinating with site teams and stakeholders across time zones and attending virtual progress meetings as needed. Occasional travel or on-site presence in Dubai may be required depending on project milestones.What We're Looking ForStrong planning and scheduling skills, with hands-on experience using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar toolsSolid grasp of construction processes, project life cycles, and how engineering, procurement, and site execution fit togetherStrong analytical skills — comfortable forecasting timelines, spotting risks, and proposing realistic mitigation strategiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and present schedule updates to stakeholders remotely or in personSharp attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects or work streams at onceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications in planning or project controls are a plusPrior experience as a Planner or in project controls within construction, ideally in the Middle EastFor remote applicants: reliable internet access and self-management skills to work independently across time zones
