Planning Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules for multiple fit-out and construction projects, coordinating timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. The role involves monitoring progress, updating schedules, preparing regular reports, and supporting project control activities to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with contractual requirements. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing productivity data, identifying risks and delays, proposing mitigation plans, and collaborating with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors. The Planning Engineer will also contribute to improving planning processes and tools to support efficient project execution across Orro’s portfolio.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills for managing project timelines, resources, and workflows.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear coordination with project teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.Candidates should possess Project Control skills for tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with project plans.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification.Experience in construction or interior fit-out planning, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.Proficiency in project planning software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project) and MS Office applications.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under time-sensitive project deadlines.
