If you are ready to be part of the team shaping Dubai’s skyline, your future starts here.As a Planning Engneer, you will support all planning, scheduling, and project controls activities within the contracting team. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with solid experience in building construction and high-rise tower projects in the UAE, capable of maintaining schedule accuracy and contributing to data-driven project reporting.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and maintenance of project baseline programmes and schedule updates using Primavera P6Prepare and update S-curves, Manpower Histograms, Look-Ahead Schedules, and Resource Deployment PlansMonitor and track project progress against the approved baseline and report variances to the Senior Planning Engineer / Planning ManagerSupport the preparation of delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) documentationDevelop and update Power BI dashboards for progress tracking and management reportingCoordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to collect accurate daily and weekly progress dataPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal management and client submissionsReview subcontractor short-term programmes and ensure alignment with the master scheduleIdentify potential schedule risks and escalate to the Senior Planner / Planning Manager with supporting analysisAssist in tender and pre-construction planning with programme inputs and preliminary schedulesMaintain proper documentation of all schedule revisions, progress records, and planning correspondence.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5–8 years of planning/scheduling experience within a contracting firmHands-on experience on building construction and high-rise tower projects in the UAEFamiliarity with UAE construction practices, project environments, and local authoritiesProficiency in Primavera P6 — schedule development, resource loading, progress updates, and baseline managementWorking knowledge of Power BI — dashboard creation, data reporting, and project analytics
