Role - Planning Engineer – TurbomachineryDepartment: TurbomachineryLocation: DubaiSalary: 5 K AED per monthJob PurposeResponsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring turbomachinery workshop and field-service activities, ensuring effective utilization of manpower, machines, tools and other resources while meeting committed project schedules.Qualification & ExperienceDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.3+ years' planning experience, preferably in Turbomachinery, Rotating Equipment, Oil & Gas or Power Generation.Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.Experience in both workshop and field-service planning preferred.Good understanding of Rotation Equipment is an advantage.Strong coordination, analytical and reporting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain master schedules for all workshop and site projects.Develop detailed project schedules and look-ahead plans using Primavera P6 / MS Project.Plan manpower, machines, tools, equipment and other resources for workshop and field activities.Coordinate workshop workflow covering inspection, machining, welding, NDT, heat treatment, coating, balancing and assembly activities.Plan field-service activities including inspections, overhauls, shutdowns, breakdowns and commissioning support.Monitor planned vs. actual progress and identify delays, resource conflicts and critical activities.Prepare recovery plans where required and coordinate priorities across multiple ongoing projects.Conduct regular planning meetings with Operations, Projects, Workshop, Engineering, QC and Procurement.Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, resource plans and management updates.
