Planning Executive (Industrial)

About the JobLooking for a Sales Planning Executive to support sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and order coordination. The role will work closely with customers and internal teams to monitor market trends, optimize stock levels, and ensure smooth sales and delivery planning.Working location: Pulau Indah KlangJob Responsibilities:Develop and monitor sales forecasts and demand plans based on market trends and customer requirements.Monitor steel market trends, pricing, demand, and upcoming projects to support business planning.Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability and optimize stock levels.Prepare and update weekly/monthly Sales Plans and Delivery Plans, ensuring alignment with customer orders.Coordinate with customers, agents, forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth order and delivery execution.Monitor sales orders, deliveries, payments, and customer claims, while providing regular updates on sales and order status.Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in sales planning, demand planning, supply chain, or a related commercial role. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Experience in sales forecasting, inventory planning, and order management is preferred.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and sales data.Good communication and coordination skills to work with customers and internal stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is an added advantage.Experience in the steel, manufacturing, or industrial sector will be an advantage.What’s on offer:Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales planning, demand planning, and inventory management.Exposure to MNC manufacturing operations and international markets.Competitive remuneration (overall package up to RM 4,000/month, subject to candidate experience)
