The Planning Manager will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and ensure that timelines, milestones, and resource allocations are realistic and aligned with project objectives. This role includes monitoring project progress, analyzing variances, updating forecasts, and preparing regular planning and progress reports for management and stakeholders. The Planning Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support decision-making. The position also involves optimizing planning processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement in project controls and planning methodologies.Qualifications Strong project planning and scheduling capabilities, including experience with tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.Solid background in civil or industrial engineering projects, with a clear understanding of construction workflows and project lifecycles.Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to identify risks, assess impacts, and support the development of mitigation and contingency plans.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in planning or project controls are an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
