Planning Manager will lead planning function across all phases of project development from initiation phase, setting key development milestones and targets for design, procurement and construction stages up till successful project completion, and coordinating with different functions to ensure alignment of development strategy and forecasts.Role & responsibilities:Develop and document master development plans from initiation stage, projects launches, procurement, design development, NOCs, construction and handover stages.Consolidate, prepare and issue projects executive and department reports, trend charts and schedule analysis across all design and construction projects portfolio. Submit regular reports as per set templates on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.Provide regular tracking of development programs. Monitor the application of development programs against set milestones and provide proactive alerts of potential delays or early warnings. Escalate findings and recommend to CDO and team preemptive mitigation actions.Analyze project progress, conduct impact analysis & review vendor claims and recommendations for extension of time utilizing planning and scheduling techniques. Highlight potential cost & time impact to CDO, function heads & commercial team.Maintain change logs and manage changes in scope, schedule and resources.Review of current processes and set guidelines for reporting and related scheduling management and control. Ensure consistency in scheduling parameters and reporting across all projects.Review consultants and contractors submitted baseline programs and identify hidden scheduling risks on the Employer, extensive floats, and unrealistic links.Ability to oversee multiple packages simultaneously and to devise strategies for scope packaging and to provide development team with expertise to optimize process and deliver the project's interim targets effectively.Participate in project management review meetings and report projects status to CDO and function heads.Provide guidance, training, and support to the teams to promote a culture of accountability and ownership of set targets. Assist the Development team with planning and scheduling techniques.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management. Qualifications

Bachelor's in engineering degree. SP or equivalent scheduling certification.Min 15 years of experience with real estate developer, involved in strategizing and delivering multi-use masterplan developments, horizontal and high-rise buildings in various jurisdictions within UAE.
