PositionPlanning Manager – ElectricalJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Planning Manager – Electrical with strong experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) / Power Plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and schedule control of electrical engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the Electrical Project Baseline Schedule using Primavera P6.Prepare detailed WBS, activity networks, logic relationships, milestones, and critical paths.Plan and monitor electrical installation activities for CCPP/Power Plant projects.Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Project Management teams.Monitor planned vs. actual progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.Develop and monitor S-Curves, manpower histograms, progress curves, and look-ahead schedules.Identify critical and near-critical activities and recommend corrective actions.Monitor electrical material procurement, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning schedules.Analyze delays and prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans.Support preparation of EOT / delay analysis documentation when required.Monitor electrical milestones including installation completion, testing, pre-commissioning, energization, and commissioning.Conduct regular schedule review meetings with construction and engineering teams.Provide accurate project completion forecasts to management.Ensure schedule updates accurately reflect site progress and project constraints.Electrical Scope ExperienceCandidates should have planning experience covering activities such as:HV/MV/LV electrical systemsSwitchgear and MCC installationTransformersGeneratorsGIS/AIS systemsCable tray and cable layingCable termination and testingEarthing and lightning protectionElectrical panelsUPS and battery systemsLighting systemsElectrical testing & commissioningEnergization and synchronizationInterface with GT, ST, HRSG and auxiliary systemsMandatory RequirementsMinimum 5 years of dedicated planning experience in CCPP / Power Plant projectsPrevious experience as Planning Manager / Senior Planning Engineer – ElectricalStrong experience in electrical project planning and schedulingPower plant / CCPP project experience is mandatoryExcellent knowledge of Primavera P6Experience in critical path analysis, progress measurement, delay analysis and recovery planningStrong knowledge of project controls and reportingGood communication and coordination skillsCandidates available for immediate deployment will be preferred.Preferred ProfileEducation: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical EngineeringExperience: 8–15+ years overall, with substantial CCPP/Power Plant Planning experienceLocation: KuwaitJoining: Immediate / Short Notice7904012609
