Plant Director

Melium has been retained by a leading international FMCG manufacturing organisation to appoint an experienced Plant Manager for a significant production site in Germany.This is a senior site leadership position with responsibility for the end-to-end performance of the operation, encompassing Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, People and continuous improvement.We are interested in speaking with accomplished Plant Managers, Site Directors and senior Operations leaders who have led complex, high-volume manufacturing environments.The RoleThe successful individual will take overall leadership responsibility for the site, including:Operational performance across the manufacturing organisationLeadership and development of the site management teamSafety, Quality, Service, Cost and Productivity performanceContinuous Improvement and Operational ExcellenceOrganisational capability and succession developmentDelivery of site improvement and investment programmesCross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, HR and wider business functionsBuilding a strong culture of accountability, engagement and performanceThe ProfileWe are particularly interested in individuals with:Significant leadership experience within FMCG, Food, Consumer Products or high-volume manufacturingPrevious responsibility for a sizeable manufacturing site or operationA strong record of improving operational performanceExperience leading through change, transformation or organisational developmentStrong Lean / Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence capabilityThe ability to develop both leadership teams and frontline organisationsStrong stakeholder management skills within an international environmentFluency in German and EnglishThis is an opportunity to lead an important manufacturing operation within a well-established international organisation, with significant visibility and scope to influence the future performance and development of the site.The search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
