At Beltaste Mórahalom (BTM), we are looking for an energetic, decisive Plant Manager who leads from the shop floor, empowers the local team, and drives operational excellence.With safety and quality as your unconditional foundation, you will hold end-to-end operational responsibility for our site in Mórahalom. You will oversee automated robotic lines alongside labor-intensive manual operations, working independently within the strategic framework and with direct support from our headquarters in Belgium.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Quality First: Actively champion and safeguard workplace safety, food safety, and quality as the non-negotiable #1 priority.Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire the local management team, ensuring clear accountabilities, strong collaboration, and operational discipline.Process & Machine Optimization: Increase the reliability of machines, robots (skewering automation), and production lines while optimizing labor-intensive manual processes.Operational Performance: Drive continuous improvements in output, efficiency, and cost control while managing the local budget, CapEx, and P&L.Shop Floor Presence: Maintain high visibility on the factory floor, identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks and risks proactively.Stakeholder Alignment: Operate independently on site while maintaining open, frequent, and transparent communication with the COO, CTO, and group functions in Belgium.Profile & QualificationsFood Industry Background: Solid leadership experience within the food manufacturing industry (mandatory requirement).Next Step in Career: An experienced Production Manager ready to step up into full Plant Management, or an established Plant Manager looking for a new operational challenge.Technical & Operational Acumen: Technically minded with a strong understanding of industrial automation, maintenance, and complex manual assembly processes.Strong Leadership & Financial Skills: Proven ability to build high-performing teams, enforce operational discipline, and manage P&L, budgets, and cost structures.Hands-on & Action-Oriented: A communicative, proactive team player who makes clear decisions and leads by example on the floor.Language Skills: Fluent in Hungarian and proficient in English (spoken and written).Location & Presence: This is an entirely on-site operational role in Mórahalom (remote work is strictly by exception and subject to prior alignment).What We OfferFull operational leadership of a key, growing production facility.A pivotal role with high autonomy within a stable, international group.Direct lines of communication with executive leadership in Belgium and backing for process improvements and investments.A competitive compensation and benefits package tailored to the seniority of the position.
