Title: Plant Manager*Direct hire with benefits, a strong growth opportunity and full operational ownershipTravel: Up to 30%SummaryThe Plant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, service, and cost objectives. This role owns plant performance end-to-end, including production, planning, materials, maintenance, and warehouse functions. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, Lean manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive accountability, culture, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a strong safety culture ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standardsOversee production, material procurement, production planning, warehouse, shipping, maintenance, and safety functionsManage plant resources including people, processes, and equipment to meet business and budget objectivesEstablish performance expectations and hold teams accountable to achieve operational goalsAnalyze production, quality, and maintenance data to identify gaps and drive corrective actionsDevelop and execute plant strategy aligned with company objectives and customer expectationsRemove barriers and ensure teams have the tools and support needed to perform effectivelyDrive Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Standard Work, VSM, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement effortsBuild and develop talent while fostering a collaborative, high-performance cultureAddress employee relations issues including performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actionsMonitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, quality, delivery, and costCoordinate maintenance activities to support uptime, OEE improvement, and safe operationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience managing operations in a manufacturing plant environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing systems involving materials, labor, and equipmentExperience leading cross-functional teams in production-driven environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD preferredLean manufacturing experience strongly preferredStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to drive results, accountability, and continuous improvement
