Plant Manager

Seed company is seeking a leader to manage a soybean production facility in Central Illinois. This role is to provide day to day leadership with a focus on all aspects of business success including customer satisfaction, fiscal responsibility, process efficiency, employee safety, and employee development.About the RolePeople management is a major part of the job responsibility. This is a role designed for someone who has an understanding of the manufacturing process and how product flows through the plant. An understanding of seed production and agricultural practices is preferred but not required.ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day leadership with a focus on customer satisfaction, fiscal responsibility, process efficiency, employee safety, and employee development.Manage people as a major part of the job responsibility.Develop and implement location budgets.Forecast production and acreage numbers.Ensure the needed staff and supplies are available to meet the forecasted goals.Communicate with customers.Work alongside members of your team in the plant with a hands-on style.Take "ownership" and be on the lookout for ways to improve.What you'll need to be consideredUnderstanding of the manufacturing process and how product flows through the plant.Understanding of seed production and agricultural practices is preferred but not required.Ability to provide day to day leadership focused on business success.Effective communication skills in a variety of platforms.Hands-on management style and willingness to work alongside team members.Pay range and compensation packageYou'll receive a competitive compensation, benefits, vehicle, and excellent bonus potential.You can expect to earn $75,000 - $120,000 based upon your level of experience.You must a US citizen or a permanent resident of the US to be considered.Contact Jim Fleming.
