This individual will be responsible for continuous improvement of production performance, workforce capability, asset integrity, cost control, and quality delivery to customers.This is a complete site leadership position with growth plan for progression within the company. The successful candidate will be an engaged and visible leader who values and establishes trust, connection, and communication throughout all levels of the workforce to promote a collaborative culture and build upon a strong employee morale.

Key Responsibilities

Provides leadership and operational direction to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of ammonia and nitric acid units.Drives a safety-first operating culture with strict compliance to PSM, OSHA, EPA, RMP, and the organization’s safety standards.Establishes financial accountability and cost discipline to deliver against budget, drive margin performance, and optimize asset utilization.Sets clear production, quality, environmental, and reliability targets aligned with site goals and customer commitments.Builds organizational capability by hiring, developing, and retaining technical and leadership talent; ensures workforce engagement and performance alignment.Champions operational excellence leads reliability programs, asset integrity strategies, and structured maintenance execution.Promotes continuous improvement, equipment uptime, lean methodology, and data-driven decision-making to remove inefficiencies and constraints.Maintains a strong presence in the plant – engaging in regularly and authentically with employees at all levels.Conducts regular town halls, communication forums, and employee engagement activities (such as appreciation events, informal gatherings, and recognition initiatives) to build openness, morale, and trust among the 100 employees.Ideal Candidate Profile:Strong plant management experience within a site of 75+ people.Continuous improvement mindsetExperience leading cultural transformationChemical manufacturing experienceProcess safety management experience in dealing with high hazardous chemical manufacturingProven site leader for 3+ yearsAbout Pacific International Executive Search:Pacific International, a globally recognized retained executive search firm, is dedicated to empowering Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and high-growth enterprises in building exceptional C-suite, senior-level, and strategic leadership teams while championing diversity and inclusion.
