The Plant Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring plant equipment and systems to ensure efficient processing and compliance with operational standards. Day-to-day tasks include starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery, performing routine inspections, recording operating data, and coordinating with maintenance teams to address equipment issues. The role also involves monitoring product quality, adhering to safety and environmental policies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in plant performance.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in plant operations, including monitoring processes and following standard operating procedures.Candidates should possess skills in machine operation and forklift operation to safely handle equipment and materials.Candidates should possess skills in quality control to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.Candidates should possess skills in maintenance, including basic troubleshooting and coordination with maintenance personnel.Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory guidelines.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, logs, and safety instructions.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Prior experience in midstream, oil and gas, or industrial plant operations preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in industrial operations is a plus.
