Its product development and engineering department uses state-of-the-art 3D CAD and simulation tools to deliver optimized mold-flow, cycle times, and highly efficient solutions for partners worldwide.Role Description The Plastic Injection Molding Technical Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the flexibility to perform some duties from Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This leadership position oversees all technical aspects of plastic injection molding operations, including process design, optimization, and quality assurance for molds and production parts. The Technical Director will guide cross-functional teams in tooling design, mold-flow analysis, and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies such as Industry 4.0, digital twin, and automation. Daily responsibilities include managing technical projects, reviewing and improving molding parameters, coordinating with engineering and R&D teams, and supporting customer-specific solutions. The role also involves mentoring technical staff, setting performance standards, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the molding department.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary technical and production teams.Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) experience, especially in plastic injection molding processes, materials, and tooling innovations.Candidates should possess Software Development or relevant software proficiency for CAD/CAM, mold-flow analysis, and manufacturing simulation tools.Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor complex molding and tooling projects on time and within budget.Extensive hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, tooling design, process optimization, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, automation, IoT, and data-driven manufacturing in an injection molding environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on efficiency and quality.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and customer-facing teams.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field.<
