The Plastic Surgeon will perform a range of elective and reconstructive surgical procedures, including cosmetic and functional interventions, in accordance with clinical best practices and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing pre-operative assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and explaining risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients. The role involves performing surgical procedures in operating theaters, including complex and microsurgical techniques where required, and managing post-operative care, follow-up visits, and complication management. The Plastic Surgeon will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to patient education and safety programs.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery, with proven experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.Comprehensive background in Surgery and Medicine, with the ability to manage pre-operative assessment, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative care.Proficiency in Microsurgery or willingness to develop these skills, especially for complex reconstructive cases.Current medical license (or eligibility for licensing) to practice as a Plastic Surgeon in the United Arab Emirates, along with board certification or equivalent in Plastic Surgery.Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, high ethical standards, and evidence-based clinical practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to counsel patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform precise and delicate surgical procedures safely.Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives; research or teaching experience is an advantage.
