Plastic Surgeon – Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting with patients, recommending appropriate surgical and non-surgical treatments, performing procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery.The role requires strong technical expertise in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work professionally under pressure.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct consultations with patients, review medical histories, and assess treatment needs.Recommend suitable surgical and non-surgical options, clearly explaining risks and benefits.Perform a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures.Treat patients with birth defects, trauma injuries, burns, or those seeking aesthetic improvements.Prepare patients for surgeries and ensure pre-operative guidelines are followed.Prescribe medications such as antibiotics and pain management treatments.Provide comprehensive post-operative care and patient education.Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to monitor healing and remove sutures.Maintain accurate patient records and comply with clinical policies and standards.RequirementsConsultant Level: Minimum 5 years of experience post MD (or equivalent qualification).Must be licensed as a Consultant in home country.Must be eligible for or holding Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification.Proven experience in reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.Strong attention to detail with excellent surgical precision.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and long working hours.Excellent communication and patient management skills.Preferred SkillsStrong interpersonal and listening skills.Ability to reassure and manage patient expectations.Professional, ethical, and patient-centered approach.
