Platform Engineer

Senior Platform Security EngineerWe're partnering with a highly innovative technology company building next-generation secure infrastructure and security-first platforms.They are looking for a Senior Platform Security Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and securing complex systems across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.This is a hands-on engineering position suited to someone who enjoys solving deep technical challenges and embedding security into every stage of the development lifecycle.What You'll Be Doing• Building and securing platform services, infrastructure, and system components• Designing secure architectures and implementing security controls• Conducting threat modelling, vulnerability management, and security assessments• Driving Linux hardening, patch management, and security best practices• Working closely with engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into development workflows• Developing automation and tooling for testing, deployment, and operational security• Contributing across multiple technical domains including platform engineering, systems development, and DevOpsWhat We're Looking For• Strong experience in Platform Security, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and platform hardening• Strong software engineering background in at least one of: C/C++, Golang, or Java• Experience implementing security controls, vulnerability remediation, and threat modelling• Familiarity with cloud, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure engineering environments• Ability to operate across multiple technical domains and take ownership of complex security challenges
