Senior Platform Engineer | Global Cloud Computing & Infrastructure Provider | Abu Dhabi, UAEAre you ready to architect the future of enterprise cloud platforms?About the companyOur client is a premier enterprise technology and cloud infrastructure provider driving next-generation cloud platforms and automated data services.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the technical implementation and evolution of a massive, customer-facing cloud platform. In this role, you will be the engineering brains behind delivering Kubernetes as a Service and Managed Data Services at a huge scale.What You Will Do:Design, engineer, and implement Kubernetes as a Service and Managed Data Platform services for global enterprise customers.Architect managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, and Redis services using production-grade operators (e.g., CloudNativePG, Crunchy Data, Zalando, Percona, Strimzi).Own the day-to-day reliability, backup architectures (pgBackRest, Sentinel), disaster recovery, scaling, and connection pooling protocols.Implement multi-tenant operational security including mTLS, automated credential rotation, IAM integration, secure parameter baselines, and image vulnerability management.What We Are Looking For:Proven experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps/SRE roles supporting large-scale cloud services.Expert-level hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and underlying cloud infrastructure frameworks (such as OpenStack).Solid foundation in Linux internals, networking, DNS, PKI, load balancing, and storage integrations (Cinder, Manila, S3-compatible).Bonus if you have these skills:GitOps / Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Flux, or Crossplane.Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.If you fit the bill, we'd love to hear from you!
