Employment Type: Full-TimeWork Location: KSARole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the installation, configuration, integration, and operationalization of an on-premises modern data platform.

The role will focus on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, environment management, and platform reliability across Development, QA, and Production environments.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying enterprise data platforms in highly secured environments, with strong troubleshooting, operational support, and infrastructure management capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and administer data platform components in an on-premises environmentDeploy and manage MinIO Object Storage and Apache Iceberg-based data lakehouse architectureInstall, configure, and optimize Starburst and/or Dremio platforms for data virtualization and queryingDeploy, administer, and support Apache Spark clusters and processing servicesInstall, configure, and manage Informatica components and ensure seamless integration with the platform ecosystemConfigure and maintain Development, QA, and Production environmentsIntegrate platform components with enterprise security services, including:Identity & Access Management (IAM)Privileged Access Management (PAM)Active Directory / LDAPSingle Sign-On (SSO) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)Implement and support Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practicesManage monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness processesCollaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability, availability, and performanceTroubleshoot deployment, configuration, integration, and connectivity issues across the platform stackMust-Have SkillsMinIO AdministrationApache IcebergStarburst and/or Dremio AdministrationApache Spark AdministrationInformatica AdministrationLinux System AdministrationVMware InfrastructureDocker and/or KubernetesGit and CI/CD IntegrationIAM/PAM IntegrationInfrastructure Troubleshooting and Operational SupportGood-to-Have SkillsData Lakehouse ArchitectureEnterprise Security ArchitecturePerformance Tuning and Capacity PlanningMonitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)Infrastructure Automation (Terraform, Ansible)Experience working in highly secured enterprise environmentsDisaster Recovery and Backup Strategy Implementation
