Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and fittings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The plumber will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and ensure that all work complies with safety standards and local regulations. The role also involves reading technical drawings, preparing basic material estimates, maintaining tools and equipment, and documenting work performed. Regular interaction with clients and site teams is expected to ensure clear communication and high-quality service delivery.Qualifications Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.Experience working with various types of pipes, fittings, valves, and related materials in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.Hands-on background in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance and emergency response for plumbing issues.Customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients, provide updates, and maintain a professional, respectful approach on-site.Ability to interpret technical drawings, basic schematics, and work orders, with attention to safety procedures and local codes.Physical ability to perform manual labor (lifting, bending, working in confined spaces) and operate standard plumbing tools and equipment.Previous experience as a plumber or plumbing technician; vocational training or certification in plumbing or a related trade is an advantage.Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a diverse team in a hybrid work environment.
