Plumbing Engineer – SiteLocation: Sharjah, UAEIndustry: Construction / ContractingExperience: 3–5 YearsSalary: AED 8,000 – 10,000 per monthEmployment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are looking for a Plumbing Engineer with 3–5 years of site experience in the construction industry to oversee and coordinate plumbing works across project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing installations are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor all plumbing works at the project site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Review plumbing and sanitary drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of works.Ensure proper installation of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and related plumbing systems.Monitor site progress and ensure plumbing activities are completed according to the project schedule.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and installation quality meet the required standards.Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities and ensure that works are ready for inspection and approval.Review and address consultant comments, site observations, and technical issues related to plumbing works.Prepare and follow up on RFIs, inspection requests, material approvals, and other project documentation.Ensure that materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications and materials submittals.Coordinate testing and commissioning of plumbing systems, including pressure testing, drainage testing, and other required inspections.Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and approved work methods.Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team to implement appropriate technical solutions.Maintain proper records of site activities, inspections, testing, and progress.Support the project team in achieving project milestones, quality standards, and timely completion.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.3–5 years of relevant experience in plumbing/MEP works within the construction or contracting industry.Strong site-based experience in plumbing installation and supervision.Good knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems, including water supply and drainage systems.Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and project/site teams.Ability to read and interpret MEP, plumbing, and sanitary drawings.Experience with inspections, testing, commissioning, and resolving site technical issues.Good knowledge of construction practices, specifications, and quality requirements.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.CompensationAED 8,000 – 10,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
