Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to join an established financial services organisation, supporting the effective governance, coordination and delivery of a portfolio of business and technology change initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects and programmes are delivered in line with agreed plans, timelines, budgets and governance standards, providing accurate reporting, maintaining delivery controls and supporting senior stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) in a financial services environment, ideally within banking, wealth management, insurance or another regulated organisation. They will have a strong understanding of project and programme governance, reporting processes, RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies), milestone tracking and financial management. Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes would be highly advantageous.The role will involve maintaining and enhancing PMO governance, controls and reporting, ensuring project documentation, plans, status reports, action logs and decision registers are accurate, up to date and maintained to a high standard. The PMO Analyst will support the production of regular portfolio and programme reporting, including progress against milestones, resource utilisation, budget tracking, delivery risks and key dependencies. They will also help prepare governance packs and management information for steering committees, programme boards and senior leadership forums.A strong focus on analysis and reporting will be essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable consolidating information from multiple workstreams, analysing delivery performance and identifying trends, risks and potential issues. They should have strong Excel skills and experience using tools such as PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Power BI or similar reporting and project management platforms. The ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at different levels will be critical.The PMO Analyst will work closely with Project Managers, Programme Managers, Product Owners, business stakeholders and technology teams to support delivery planning, governance and coordination. Responsibilities will include tracking actions and decisions, monitoring project budgets and forecasts, supporting resource and capacity planning, coordinating project meetings and workshops, and ensuring governance activities are completed in accordance with organisational standards.The role will also involve proactively following up on outstanding actions, escalating delivery concerns and helping teams maintain accountability for agreed commitments.Given the regulated nature of the organisation, an understanding of financial services would be beneficial.The successful candidate should be organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and build effective relationships across business and technology functions. They should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, with a focus on strengthening PMO processes and improving the quality, consistency and transparency of delivery reporting.Overall, this role offers an opportunity for a capable PMO Analyst to support complex change initiatives within a financial services organisation, helping to ensure effective governance, robust reporting and disciplined programme delivery.
