Apply & track with Apply EdgePMO Assistant / PMO Coordinator / PMO AnalystRole DescriptionWe are seeking an organized, structured, and analytical PMO Assistant / PMO Coordinator / PMO Analyst to support the effective governance, tracking, and execution of organizational projects and strategic initiatives. In this key project management office role, you will work closely with PMO Leaders, Project/Program Managers, Resource Managers, and Department Leads to enforce project management standards, track portfolio performance, and maintain project documentation integrity. You will be responsible for maintaining central project repositories, monitoring project schedules and milestones, tracking resource allocation, auditing risk and issue registers (RAID logs), and consolidating project status reports for leadership reviews. Responsibilities include tracking project budgets and spend variances, assisting with change control procedures, facilitating governance meetings, and driving continuous process improvements across project lifecycles. Success in this position requires a keen attention to process governance, strong analytical proficiency, working knowledge of project management frameworks, clear stakeholder communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP certification path is a strong advantage.PMO Governance & Project Frameworks: Practical understanding of project management principles, methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Hybrid), project governance structures, and the project delivery lifecycle (PMBOK standards).Project Tracking & Portfolio Tools: Hands-on experience or working knowledge of project management and PMO platforms (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or Planview).RAID Log & Change Control Management: Capability to track, update, and manage project Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency (RAID) registers, as well as maintaining central logs for project scope change requests.Data Reporting & Visual Analytics: Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) to build status dashboards, consolidate project health metrics, and run variance analyses.Resource & Budget Tracking: Experience monitoring project resource utilization, tracking project expenditure against baseline budgets, and auditing milestone completion for vendor billing.Meeting Facilitation & Minutes: Outstanding capability to organize, facilitate, and record concise, action-driven meeting minutes for steerco meetings, sprint reviews, and project status catch-ups.Process Documentation & Quality Control: Sharp attention to detail in standardizing PMO templates, enforcing compliance with company project frameworks, and archiving historical project artifacts.Communication & Stakeholder Coordination: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface effectively across cross-functional project teams, external vendors, and executive project sponsors.Professional Attributes: High organizational discipline, methodical approach to tracking complex schedules, adaptability under shifting project priorities, and a commitment to operational efficiency.
