PMO Consultant – Finance

Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an experienced PMO Consultant with a strong Finance background to support PMO and financial-related activities across business and transformation initiatives. The role will combine project management office governance with financial planning, budgeting, reporting and cost-control activities.The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective governance, financial oversight, planning and reporting across projects and initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport PMO governance and ensure effective project management processes, controls and reporting.Lead and coordinate financial planning and budgeting activities related to projects and transformation initiatives.Monitor project financial performance, including costs, budgets, forecasts and variances.Prepare and consolidate financial and PMO reports for management and key stakeholders.Support cost control and ensure projects remain aligned with approved financial plans.Track project financial commitments, expenditure and overall budget utilization.Support transformation projects from a PMO and financial management perspective.Coordinate with Finance, Project Managers and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Identify financial risks, budget deviations and areas requiring management attention.Maintain PMO documentation, governance reports, financial trackers and project performance information.Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, reporting and financial controls.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.+7 years of experience with 3–5+ years in PMO/project financial management.Strong professional experience in Finance-related environments, combined with PMO/project management experience.Proven experience in PMO governance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.Experience supporting transformation or strategic projects.PMP certification is mandatory.Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial/project reporting tools.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is not mandatory.Experience in the insurance sector is not mandatory; candidates from other finance-related sectors can be considered.Knowledge of SAMA or Saudi insurance regulatory requirements is not mandatory.
