PRG offers opportunities for professionals who value collaboration, quality and growth across the UK repair sector.About the RoleWe are looking for a PMO Lead — Delivery & Governance Execution to lead the day-to-day operation of PRG's PMO and ensure that strategic priorities translate into measurable business outcomes.This is a hands-on delivery leadership role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, driving projects forward, resolving blockers and creating accountability across functions.Working closely with the Group Director of Strategy & Transformation, you will help ensure that commercial, product, technology, operations, data and wider business-change initiatives are appropriately prioritised, sequenced and delivered.The role is focused on execution and adoption. An established PMO governance framework is already in place; your responsibility will be to run it consistently, improve it where necessary and ensure that it supports effective delivery without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Leadership

• Own the end-to-end delivery of critical cross-functional projects, from initiation through to implementation and adoption.
• Establish clear objectives, milestones, ownership and delivery plans.
• Identify and resolve issues, risks and dependencies that could impact delivery.
• Proactively unblock projects by bringing the right people together and driving decisions to resolution.
• Manage senior stakeholders directly, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, decisions and required actions.
• Ensure projects deliver their intended business outcomes, rather than simply completing project plans.Portfolio Alignment
• Work closely with the Group Director of Strategy & Transformation to maintain visibility of the overall change portfolio.
• Help sequence the project pipeline in line with business strategy, priorities and available organisational capacity.
• Assess competing priorities, dependencies and resource constraints across projects.
• Identify portfolio-level risks, conflicts and capacity issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Maintain a clear view of what is being delivered, what is coming next and where intervention is required.PMO & Governance Execution
• Own the day-to-day operation of the established PMO governance framework.
• Run stage-gates, project reviews, risk management and governance forums consistently across the portfolio.
• Ensure projects maintain appropriate plans, RAID logs, milestones, decision records and governance documentation.
• Challenge project owners constructively where delivery standards, timelines or governance requirements are not being met.
• Adapt and refine existing governance processes as the business evolves, while maintaining an appropriate level of control and proportionate governance.
• Provide accurate and timely portfolio reporting to senior leadership.Financial & Commercial Control
• Own project budget tracking and provide clear visibility of financial performance.
• Monitor project spend against approved budgets and identify emerging variances.
• Support oversight of external suppliers and vendors, including deliverables, milestones and contractual commitments.
• Track cross-project dependencies and ensure commercial or operational issues are escalated appropriately.
• Ensure financial, delivery and commercial risks are visible within the PMO governance process.Person SpecificationEssential Experience & Skills
• 7+ years' relevant experience in project delivery, PMO, programme management or business change.
• Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through to implementation and adoption.
• Experience operating and maintaining an established PMO governance framework, including stage-gates, RAID management, project controls and portfolio reporting.
• Strong experience managing senior stakeholders and driving decisions to resolution.
• Experience managing project budgets, suppliers, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Experience managing, mentoring or developing at least one direct report or junior colleague.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining focus on delivery outcomes.
• A practical and delivery-focused approach, with the confidence to get into the detail when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Relevant Background
• Experience delivering projects within a services, operational, commercial or other business-change environment.
• Experience working across multiple business functions, such as commercial, operations, technology, product or data.
• Experience working with technology or software-enabled change is welcome, where this includes broader operational or business transformation delivery.Desirable
• Formal project, programme or PMO qualification.
• Experience working within a transformation or strategy function.
• Experience introducing or improving portfolio management, project controls or delivery reporting.
• Experience working with external suppliers and complex commercial relationships.
