For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.Due to exciting new team structures at Kinly, we now have an opportunity for a proven PMO Manager to join our highly collaborative global operations team, to be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, development, and support of the Project Management Office (PMO) team.The role focuses on ensuring quality, prioritization, predictability, and consistent project execution across the organization. By combining strong leadership with active involvement in project delivery, the PMO Manager contributes to a scalable, efficient, and financially sound project organization.
Key Responsibilities
General ResponsibilitiesActive member of the Operations Leadership teamOverseeing Program Management, Project Management, Project Support Services teamsPrimarily responsible for delivering customer excellence in project management across the regionSupporting other regions where necessary to ensure successful delivery for our customersCollaborating with global regions supporting continuous process and service developmentContribute to a globally consistent customer experienceAct in accordance with the deliverables of the project manager role for directly assigned projectsPMO Leadership & StrategyContribute to a globally aligned PMO vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business goalsContribute to the evolution of PMO maturity, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologiesAct as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on portfolio delivery and prioritizationPortfolio & Program ManagementOversee the regions project and program portfolioEnsure alignment of initiatives to strategic objectives and business valueMonitor portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and resource allocationStrong understanding of the pipeline of projects and alignment to workload availability within the PM teamWork with management colleagues to understand and manage reduced project backlogGovernance, Compliance & StandardsEstablish and enforce program & project management standards, processes, and toolsEnsure consistent application of governance frameworks across all initiativesProvide transparency through structured reporting, dashboards, and KPIsResponsible for compliance to QHSE regulations and adherence to ISO standardsResponsible for adherence to contract terms and conditionsCommercial ControlOversee commercial controls ensuring the portfolio delivers within budgetEnsure change control processes are fully governedWork with logistics and procurement teams on effective procurement strategy, maintaining target hardware stock levels.Delivery Assurance & Performance ManagementTrack and report on project delivery performance (budget, timeline, quality)Identify risks and issues early and implement mitigation strategiesConduct regular health checks and assurance reviews on key projectsStakeholder EngagementEngage with senior stakeholders, executives, and business leadersProvide clear, data-driven updates on portfolio status and outcomesInfluence decision-making through insight and structured reportingResource & Capability DevelopmentProvide Leadership through support and mentoring of colleagues within the PMO team, building and maintaining an industry-leading team.Manage and develop project management capabilities across the organisationBuild and lead high-performing PMO and delivery teamsDrive training, coaching, and adoption of best practicesRecruit, attract and maintain talent within the team and provide input on succession planningBusiness DevelopmentSupport on any new business opportunities where senior project management representation might be requiredBusiness TransformationSupport the development and implementation of PMO tooling in line with the global digital transformation programContinuous ImprovementCapture lessons learned and improvement opportunitiesConduct post-project reviews where appropriateProvide feedback to sales, design, engineering and operations teamsIdentify opportunities to improve project delivery processesContribute to the development of project management standards, processes and best practicesHealth, Safety and Quality AssuranceWork closely with the QHSE manager to support continual review and improvement of risk analysis and safe working practicesContribute to ongoing management and development of Health, Safety and Environmental information management systemsEnsure working practices throughout the department meet the required standardsCultivate a safe working culture within the teamInvestigate Health, Safety or Environmental concerns and ensure lessons are distributed throughout the team.Skills & Experience:Proven experience leading a PMO or large program/portfolio functionProven experience managing complex projects within the AV, technology integration, IT, engineering or construction sectorsExperience managing projects from initiation through to completion and handoverStrong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and processesExperience managing project budgets, costs, risks and programmesGood knowledge of H&S managementStrong customer and stakeholder management skillsExperience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teamsStrong commercial awareness and financial management skillsExcellent organisational and planning skillsStrong communication, negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlinesStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesExperience working with subcontractors, suppliers and external partnersExcellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projectsWillingness to travel and work flexible hours when requiredGood interpersonal and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and qualityGood understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and WordQualificationsRelevant project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MSP)Relevant H&S management certificationCTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I
