As PMO Manager, you will lead a team of project management professionals and oversee a portfolio of customer engagements, helping ensure projects are delivered to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. This on-site Tempe opportunity combines team leadership with hands-on project management and meaningful collaboration across customers, sales, professional services, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, associate project managers, and project coordinators.Govern a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring delivery aligns with statements of work and established PMO methodology.Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, while personally managing select projects as needed.Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resource capacity, risks, issues, and change requests across the portfolio.Communicate project health, progress, financials, risks, and decisions clearly to customers, executives, and delivery teams.Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to meet contractual commitments and customer expectations.Maintain quality standards and verify that project deliverables meet agreed requirements.Partner with PMO leadership and peer teams to improve project delivery processes, tools, and practices.Must-Have Skills:10 or more years of enterprise IT infrastructure project or program management experience, including concurrent projects for multiple external customers.Experience leading project teams and delivering projects in a professional services or consulting environment.Strong project portfolio governance and expertise in scope, schedule, financial, risk, issue, and quality management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project, and project or portfolio management systems.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, including the ability to engage with both frontline teams and executive sponsors.Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and respond effectively to ambiguity and changing requests.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Nice-to-Have Skills:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience delivering low-voltage cabling, audiovisual, security, wireless, networking, unified communications, or data center projects.Construction industry experience coordinating with general contractors and other trades.Familiarity with construction drawings for new builds and tenant improvements.Experience supporting technology deployments in K-12 or government environments.Knowledge of construction site safety requirements and related protective equipment.
