Position Summary:The Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's project management function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role establishes and maintains project management standards, methodologies, and best practices while providing leadership and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams.The PMO Manager partners with executive leadership, department leaders, and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage project portfolios, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

Project Management Governance:· Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and provide direction, coaching, and support to project managers and project coordinators.· Establish, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, processes, standards, and tools.· Provide leadership in project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation.· Manage the organization's project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.· Develop and maintain project governance practices, including project intake, prioritization, status reporting, and risk management.· Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to increase efficiency and project outcomes.· Support organizational change management efforts associated with key initiatives.Team Management:· Build and lead a high-performing PMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuousimprovement.· Mentor and develop project managers and project coordinators, ensuring their professional growth and effectiveness.· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service within the PMO team.· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to increase efficiency and project outcomes.· Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.· Assist with resource planning and capacity management across the organization.· Monitor project performance, timelines, budgets, resource utilization, and deliverables.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:· Implement project performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to ensure effectiveness and utilization· Regularly report on project status, risks, and issues to leadership as defined.· Establish and maintain metrics so that dashboards are effective.· Develop and maintain PMO metrics, dashboards, and reporting.Risk Management:· Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.· Implement a risk management framework to anticipate and address potential challenges.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.· Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership or management experience.· Minimum of 3-4 years supporting Enterprise client environments.· Minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience.· Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities.· Experience within an IT, managed services, or professional services environment preferred· Experience with enterprise ServiceNow ITSM a plusPhysical Requirements:· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.· Occasional walking between facilities.· Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling up to 15 lbs.· Travel 10% - 20%
