OverviewAstro Offshore is seeking an experienced PMS Administrator to support the management of Planned Maintenance Systems and IT operations across our fleet.The role will support PMS administration, system monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, crew training, and onboard IT support. The ideal candidate will have experience in PMS management, IT administration, or maritime technical support, with strong troubleshooting and system management skills.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, implement, and maintain the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) onboard vessels and at shore-based offices.Deliver initial training and ongoing support to vessel crew and shore staff on PMS functionalities.Monitor PMS utilization and promptly report any outstanding tasks to the Vessel Manager.Ensure the PMS aligns with ISM Code requirements and company safety and environmental standards.Prepare detailed maintenance reports, job histories, compliance logs, performance insights and system upgrades and present quarterly reports to the Managers for operational reviews.Act as the primary point of contact for technical coordination between internal systems and external software providers.Assume responsibility for all IT equipment onboard Astro-owned vessels, ensuring proper functioning.Provide IT support and resolve technical issues onboard vessels as needed.Report system issues, updates, and key developments to the Line Manager. Skills & ExperienceProficient in using and managing Planned Maintenance Systems.Hands-on experience in IT administration or maritime technical support.Strong understanding of vessel maintenance processes and equipment tracking.Skilled in system integration, database management, and troubleshooting.Effective communicator with the ability to train and support shipboard crew.Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.Exposure to fleet management or shipboard operations is an advantage. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Marine Engineering.Knowledge of the ISM Code and maritime safety standards.Relevant IT or maritime certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, or PMS-specific training) are an advantage.
