Our video podcast brings this world to issuers, investors, bankers, regulators, and finance professionals through conversations that are rigorous yet accessible.The RoleWe are looking for a full-time Podcast Host to be the face and voice of the DebtCircle Podcast. You will lead conversations with market participants, policymakers, and analysts, and make complex debt-market topics engaging for a wide audience. This is a communicator-first role: we value curiosity, clarity, and presence on camera, and our editorial team will support you with domain research and briefing.Key ResponsibilitiesHost video episodes, including guest interviews, panel discussions, and market explainersPrepare thoroughly for each episode: study the guest and topic, work with editorial on briefing notes, and craft sharp, well-structured questionsGuide conversations naturally, asking clear follow-ups and keeping discussions insightful, balanced, and easy to followTranslate technical debt-market concepts into plain language without losing accuracyWork with editorial on show format, episode planning, guest lineup, and content calendarBuild and nurture relationships with guests such as CFOs, treasury heads, fund managers, rating analysts, bankers, and regulatorsCoordinate with the production team on scripts, shoot schedules, studio setup, and post-production reviewsSupport distribution and promotion, including short-form clips, social posts, and newsletter teasersRepresent DebtCircle at industry events and conferencesRequirements2+ years of experience hosting video shows, podcasts, webinars, or events, or equivalent experience in broadcast or digital mediaExcellent spoken English with a clear, confident, and engaging on-camera presence; fluency in Hindi or another regional language is a plusStrong interviewing skills: active listening, good follow-up questions, and the ability to keep guests comfortable while drawing out real insightAbility to explain complex or technical subjects simply to both expert and general audiencesStrong curiosity about business and finance, and willingness to learn debt markets quicklyGood research, preparation, and time-management skills, with the ability to turn around episodes on a regular scheduleComfort working in a studio or camera setup and taking direction from producers and editorsProfessionalism, credibility, and good judgement when speaking with senior market figuresGood to HaveExperience hosting business, finance, or news contentBasic understanding of bonds, credit markets, banking, or Indian financial regulationA portfolio of past video or audio work (links required)Familiarity with video podcast production and social media distributionAn existing audience on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, or InstagramWhat We OfferA chance to build and shape a flagship show in a niche, high-value media categoryDirect access to India's leading debt-market voices and decision-makersCreative and editorial input into the show's direction and formatHow to ApplyPlease send the following to vijendra@debtcircle.in with the subject line "Application: DebtCircle Podcast Host":Your CV2–3 links to your hosting work (video preferred)A short note on why you would be a good fit for the role
