Senior Security Policy Analyst & Action Officer | Classification Management & Program Protection | Pentagon | TS/SCIDo you have hands-on experience drafting, staffing and reconciling DoD Directives and Instructions on classification management and programme protection?If Security Classification Guides, DoDI 5200.44, Programme Protection Plans and Supply Chain Risk Management are part of your daily vocabulary — this role was written for you.A fast growing, award winning DC based national security contractor is looking for a Senior Security Policy Analyst and Action Officer to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War at the Pentagon.What you'd be doing:Developing and staffing DoW policy on classification management and programme protection, conducting security reviews, assessing PPPs and coordinating across DCSA, Joint Staff J28, OSD R&E and the DoW CIO.Producing action memos, Congressional responses and briefings on classification and programme protection matters.What they need:Active TS/SCI10 years DoD information security policy — specifically classification management, CUI or NISP5 years drafting and staffing DoD Directives and Instructions — DoDI 5200.44, DoDI 5200.50 or equivalent4 years staff action officer at OSD, JCS, OUSD or Military Department HQ levelPPP, SCRM, CUI and NISP experienceFamiliarity with Security Classification Guides and derivative classificationIdeal background:OUSD(R&E), ISOO, NSC, Army CIO, OSD or Military Department HQ — working directly on classification policy, programme protection and information security governance.Experience coordinating across NSA, legal offices and federal agencies on DoD issuances is a strong differentiator.This is not a cybersecurity role.
