Working closely with vessel crews, Operations, and the Technical Department, you will play a key role in ensuring our vessels remain fully operational, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional service to our clients.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs Port Engineer, you will:๐น Manage the day-to-day technical performance and reliability of assigned vessels.๐น Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, dry dockings, and technical projects.๐น Conduct vessel inspections, monitor maintenance standards, and ensure technical deficiencies are resolved efficiently.๐น Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, statutory requirements, ISM Code, and Company procedures.๐น Coordinate the procurement of technical spare parts, equipment, and external services while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels.๐น Work closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, Operations teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable technical solutions.๐น Monitor maintenance budgets, control repair costs, and drive continuous improvements in vessel performance and fleet reliability.๐น Support audits, client inspections, technical investigations, and emergency repairs whenever required.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.The ideal candidate will have:โ Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related discipline.โ Minimum 5 years of experience in marine engineering, technical vessel management, or a similar role.โ Experience with Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs), Harbour Tugs, Towage, or Offshore Marine Operations.โ Excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills.Why Join KOTUG?At KOTUG, you'll be part of a global maritime leader with a reputation for delivering safe, reliable, and innovative marine services.
