The ideal candidate will assist with analyzing portfolio data, tracking performance and risk metrics, preparing reports, and supporting investment and business decisions.This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in investment analysis, financial markets, portfolio management, and data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor portfolio performance, holdings, allocations, and investment activity.Prepare regular portfolio performance and management reports.Analyze investment data, financial statements, market trends, and portfolio metrics.Assist with portfolio attribution, risk analysis, and performance measurement.Track portfolio objectives, benchmarks, and key performance indicators.Conduct research on securities, industries, markets, and economic trends.Maintain accurate portfolio data and ensure information is complete and consistent.Assist with portfolio modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.Identify portfolio trends, variances, and potential risks.Prepare presentations, dashboards, spreadsheets, and analytical summaries for management.Support portfolio managers and senior analysts with research and analytical tasks.Collaborate with Finance, Investment, Operations, Risk, and other internal teams.Assist with data reconciliation and investigate discrepancies when necessary.Maintain documentation related to portfolio analysis and reporting.Follow company policies, investment guidelines, and applicable compliance procedures.Perform other analytical and portfolio-related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.0–3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, portfolio analysis, or a related field.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Good understanding of financial markets and investment concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze large amounts of financial information and summarize findings clearly.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with portfolio management and performance measurement concepts.Knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, or other investment products.Experience with financial databases or portfolio management systems.Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, or similar platforms is a plus.Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or financial modeling is preferred.CFA coursework or progress toward the CFA designation is a plus.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is beneficial.
